Got my first email from 4square&7yearsago this morning, which sends you your foursquare check-ins from a year before, each day. Today's reminded me of a delicious sushi lunch and a great night with my old friend and entertainment industry mogul, Angel Sepulveda. This is kinda fun.

Wow, this looks amazing. Imagine being able to go to one place to relive your digital life - Tweets, Facebook posts, Foursquare check-ins, trave (TripIt), content sharing (YouTube, Flickr, Picasa), blog posts, and more. I'm smitten...but let's see how well it actually works. I'd love an invite, if anyone's got one.
What do you think? Would you connect all of these services to one timeline? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

What a phenomenal idea...as long as people don't abuse it and get weird. At the same time, if you put yourself into the mix, I guess you have to have a good sense of humor and a spirit of experimentation about the whole thing. Either way, I'll be watching this to see how it pans out. I'm a big fan of random acts of kindness.
Special DeliverySend A Gift To A Complete StrangerAs a child, your mother made sure that you never accepted candy or gifts from strangers. Good call, Mom. But what if you were the stranger, and you could use the power of gifts for good instead of evil?Visit Gift a StrangerMake someone's day brighter with Gift A Stranger, which makes it easy to send some lucky person a gift of your choosing.
All you need to supply is your first name, your general location, a picture of the gift you're sending, and the willingness to make someone's day.
After the random address has been generated, all that's left to do is drop the gift in the mail. The entire process is anonymous on both ends.
A novel idea, for sure, but it's one we can get behind. We also think that the lucky person in Portland who gets the awesome hat we sent them will totally love it.
The reigning abundance of food-related check-ins shows why I love Foursquare as a foodie - I use the Tips feature almost as much as Yelp these days.
There are tonnes of apps, widgets and services out there that connect with twitter to do almost anything you desire. The catch is, with thousands of them out there, and every second one being called twitxxxx or tweetxxxx, it’s both challenging to remember what the good ones are, or find the ones that actually do something you need. So, as always, Brian Solis teamed up with Jess3 to create a stunning infographic called “The Twitterverse” categorising all the biggest twitter based apps and services. Enjoy! (click for a hi-res image)The Twitterverse Infographic breaks the twitter universe into the following 19 orbiting rings:
Ring 1: Branding
Ring 2: Geographics
Ring 3: Interest Graph
Ring 4: Dashboard
Ring 5: Event Management
Ring 6: Live Streaming
Ring 7: Geo Location
Ring 8: Relationships
Ring 9: Marketing and Advertising
Ring 10: Rich Media Ring 11: Communication Management
Ring 12: Research and Analysis Ring 13: Stream Management

Ring 17: Influence and Resonance
Ring 18: Twitter Search
